Hello,

In the attached image (from the global MPI report 2022), they have given the percentages of poor people in rural and urban areas of India. They have the corresponding numbers in millions as well. I am able to arrive at the percentages. How can I get the corresponding numbers in millions?
Please help.

It is not possible to estimate the numbers in millions from the NFHS-5 survey. Whoever estimated the numbers in millions would have had to calculate the estimates based on the projected population size at approximately the time of the middle of the NFHS-5 survey fieldwork. You'll have to contact them about their methodology.
