Following is a response from Senior DHS Data Processing Specialist, Noureddine Abderrahim:

The variable V166 is part of the woman's file and it appears as many times as there are women in the data file. The source of this information depends on the survey. For Ghana DHS 2014 it comes from the household question 140 as shown in the final report. Variables from the woman's file are added to the children's file and will appear in the children's file as many times as there are children.
