District identifiers are not available. Please refer to the following forum post for more information on this topic: http://userforum.measuredhs.com/index.php?t=msg&th=70&am p;start=0&

As an alternative, you might use the GPS dataset available for the survey to extract the district names from a geographic shapefile of the district boundaries. If you choose to do this, keep in mind that our GPS data is randomly displaced to protect respondent confidentiality. More information on the displacement process is available in our SAR7 report ( http://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-SAR7-Spat ial-Analysis-Reports.cfm). Guidance on how to incorporate the GPS data into your analysis while accounting for displacement is available in our SAR8 report ( http://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-SAR8-Spat ial-Analysis-Reports.cfm).
