Hello again!

Is it possible to estimate the prevalence of ARI for 1 year from the original ARI variables (prevalence of ARI in the past 2 weeks)? Something like "number of children under 5yo (and respective proportion over the total) who had symptoms of ARI for a year? Thanks in advance!
Yes, you can estimate the annual prevalence of ARI from the DHS 2-week data by extrapolating the proportion of children under 5 with symptoms across a year, adjusting for multiple episodes and overlap, though it's a rough estimate due to seasonality and recurrence.
