Following is a response from Senior DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

New versions of the data files for the Kenya 2022 DHS survey were uploaded on August 12. The constructed variables that you refer to have been corrected. There is no change to hv106, v106, or mv106.

The problems with the variables for years of schooling were uncovered here on the forum by users such as you. Thank you! Let us know if you still see inconsistencies.
