Dear user groups,

My name is Fekadu Gelaw from Ethiopia. I would like to use Ethiopian DHS data for socioeconomic analysis using Ethiopian river-basins as the unit of analysis. I order to make my analysis at river basin levels, I need some coordinates in order to stratify the sample households by river basins. I guess the xy coordinates of the sample households are removed for the purpose of confidentiality of the identity of the sample households. But it is possible to provide the xy-coordinates by modifying the exact location of the households. I don't need the exact location. I only need modified xy-coordinates or even centroid of enumeration areas. Once I got the modified coordinates or centroids, I can stratify the households by river-basins.

Please help me how I can find modified geographic coordinates (lat and long) of the sample households.

Looking forward for responses.

Regards,
