I have some doubts.
1. In the below codes, don't we care about the missing values?
local ltypes "head_male head_female husband wife fa mo fa_inlaw mo_inlaw"
foreach lt of local ltypes {
egen n_`lt'=total(`lt'), by(hv024 hv001 hv002)
}
2. When I'm doing this tabulation tab head_type hv101, I'm getting the output in the attached image. Below this particular tabulation, you have written
"There should not be any cases with head_type=1 or 3 and hv101==2". Accordingly, I should not be getting 4 in the wife or husband column, right?
Can you please explain it?
