Following is a response from DHS staff member Tom Pullum:

The list of characteristics on the DHS website includes abortion if abortion related questions appear in the questionnaire, such as the type of pregnancy outcome in the pregnancy history. Some countries choose to add more specific questions about abortion, but DHS does not have an Abortion Module.
