Hello everyone,

I'm using the geospatial covariates data set for Cote d'Ivoire and I want to merge it with WHO Afro admin records from recent polio campaigns. The WHO data is identified at district-level (113 districts in total) but no geomarkers for these districts. I want to use the DHS data to identify which districts are urban/rural and other structural characteristics. However, the DHS data is not available at the district-level. It only has the DHS cluster IDs and when I match it with DHS survey data the most information I can get is the regions (north, north-east, south, etc.) these clusters belongs to. I'm wondering how one should think about this issue? I feel like even if I can get the co-ordiantes for the clusters in DHS geospatial data, I can look up district coordinates on google and figure out which clusters belong to which districts. Is there possibly a way to do this using DHS data because I find the covariates data useful in terms of the geographic characteristics I'm interested in. Would be really helpful if anyone has done something similar or knows of works that have tackled similar problems. Thanks!

Best,
Mansha
