I see that b6 gives information about how long has the child lived. Can I use that to construct a binary variable, ie under 5 mortality = 1 and 0 otherwise? And how do I interpret the value? From the manual, 'For example, 298 means the age at death was a number of months, and the exact number was unknown, but lies between 1 and 23 months.' What does it mean by it lies between 1 - 23 months?
