Glad you were able to match the total, using awfactt. To get the indicator separately for urban and rural areas, just substitute awfactu in place of awfactt, as you said. Then restrict to v025=1 (urban) and v025=2 (rural). The Stata code for this indicator is on our GitHub site. Hope it also gives you a match. For other covariates you have to use other versions of awfact. You will only be in trouble if you want to use a covariate for which there is not an already-prepared version of awfact. You can let us know if you encounter that problem, but the Guide to DHS Statistics describes the construction and use of all-women factors for ever-married women (EMW) surveys.
