The Wealth Index excel file documenting the common, urban and rural variables and component scores for the 2017-2018 Burkina Faso MIS survey does not appear to match the SPSS syntax posted. Specifically, the excel file indicates that the Wealth Index was created using animal ownership and land area variables in the Common (combined) analysis, which is unusual. The SPSS syntax seems to indicate that these variables were not, in fact, used in the common analysis. Which set of variables - those listed in the SPSS syntax file or those listed in the common, urban and rural tabs of the excel file - were ultimately used in the wealth index created for the dataset?
