The request is submitted by HelpAge International.

The current set of questions in the disability module do not identify if a person is housebound. This information is useful for defining and planning aspects of social service and health care interventions

Therefore HelpAge International requests that a question is introduced to the 'Disability module' to assess whether any member of a household has difficulty in leaving their home or getting out of bed.
