Please look at the NFHS-5 woman's questionnaire, which is available at https://dhsprogram.com/pubs/pdf/FR339/FR339.W.pdf. Question 228 asks pregnant women "At any time during this pregnancy, have you had an ultrasound test?" The result (YES/NO) is recorded in Column 2 of the calendar. Therefore, you can determine whether or not currently pregnant women had an ultrasound test at any time during the pregnancy, but not when she had the test. You can examine whether women in each single month of pregnancy had an ultrasound test at any time during the pregnancy, but for women who have completed 6 or more months of pregnancy, you won't know whether or not she had an ultrasound test within 24 weeks of gestation.
