Dear Amira,

You could try doing it in the reverse order by doing the spatial join first. This will create a second point shapefile. In the attribute table of the layer, there will be a column giving the district name for each cluster. You can then export the attribute table to an Excel file or whatever program you are using to do your analysis. Then you can merge the district classification to the individual women in the individual recode file based on the v001 and DHSCLUST variables. For tips on how to set up the merge, please refer to http://www.dhsprogram.com/data/Merging-Datasets.cfm#CP_JUMP_ 8052.
