Hello

I have been looking at Ethiopia 2016 IR dataset.

I downloaded the data from Statcompiler to show the percentage of women who had experienced sexual or physical violence, who had sought help from various sources, and I have also downloaded the Ethiopia 2016 IR dataset to get further detail. However I cannot tally the figures from statcompiler to the figures in the dataset.

For example, statcompiler figures show that 31.3% of women sought help from their own family to stop domestic violence.

However, in the DHS, only 95 (7.1%) of ever married women who experienced sexual and/or physical violence (n 1332) women sought help from their own family.

Please can someone explain how the statcompiler figures are so different, and also, the dataset I downloaded is called 2016 although the date of interview was 2008.

Thank you very much,

Janet
