Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:

The tables using household data, with very few exceptions, are restricted to de facto residents (hv103=1). It happens that even some children under 6 months of age do not satisfy this requirement. If you enter "tab stunted [iweight=hv005/1000000] if hc1<6 & hv103==1" you will get 1108 (rounded) cases.
