You can reference the final report for your paper. The recommended citation is: Ministry of Health and Population/Egypt, El-Zanaty and Associates/Egypt, and ICF International. 2015. Egypt Health Issues Survey 2015. Cairo, Egypt: Ministry of Health and Population/Egypt and ICF International.

For the female sample, are you using the EGIQ73 file? This is the individual file that includes both men and women. When I tabulate the sex variable I get 9209 females as stated in the final report, see below.
