Dear Group members,

I am trying to analyse the factors associated with NMR and IMR. I found the recent NDHS 2016 (Nepal) dataset is a bit different, in terms of IMR calculation compared to previous (2012).
Previously also, I have analysed NDHS 2012 and NDHS 2006 of Nepal and published some articles.

Hence, can you please help to figure out this issue? Which variable to pick for calculating the IMR and NMR?
