Please refer to the Standard Questionnaires on our website. https://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/Publication-Search.cfm The Woman's questionnaire will give you a good idea of the types of questions asked in most surveys. Questions 406 and 407 in the women's questionnaire references questions about timing of the pregnancy that relate to unwantedness. We have these questions in just about all DHS surveys. Once you start working with a survey or several surveys you will need the Standard Recode Manual https:// dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-DHSG4-DHS-Questionna ires-and-Manuals.cfm to assist you in working with the standard recode variables. In addition to this we recommend referencing The Guide to DHS Statistics https:// www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-dhsg1-dhs-questi onnaires-and-manuals.cfm.
