There are only 16 cases that are missing on s227 - depending on which piece of code you use, these may be treated differently. For most purposes, it won't affect the results in any significant way, and DHS tends to include the relatively small number of missing cases for simplicity and consistency of denominator, but we are typically only presenting simple crosstabs. An alternative would be to exclude these cases, but they would not make much difference. If you are conducting a more complicated analysis then you should make your own decision about how best to categorize those cases with missing data.
