Hi, anyone knows if the variable "Months of Breastfeeding" is for exclusive breastfeeding only or complementary breastfeeding also?
I don't understand why I have a negative correlation and negative regressions's beta between months of breastfeeding and the child's malnutrition (measured by height for age).
Thank you very much,
Simo

Dear User,
Here is a response from Senior Data Processing Specialist, Mr. Guillermo Rojas,
Quote:

Months of breastfeeding is asked in general and doesn't differentiate whether its exclusive or not.

If you have additional questions please feel free to post again.
Thank you!

Hi

I am a bit confused about this response, as there is no question in the questionnaires where women are asked about the duration of their breastfeeding. Is this a derived variable ? or if it does appear in the questionnaire - please could you inform me as to where women are asked for how long they breastfed for.

Thanks in advance for your help

Chloe
