	| Dear forum users,
I have been trying to replicate the perinatal mortality rates for Nepal DHS 2011 (Table 8.4, page 117-full report). I went through the guide to DHS and also through the messages posted in the forum. I have explored using both the birth recode file and individual. There are couple of variables s216, sprego that I tried but was unable to come with the answer.

I would be glad to have any insights, suggestions on how to replicate the findings.

 Thanks,

	| Dear User, I will refer your post to one of our experts.
S216B (country specific) Born alive, born dead, before full term: In the recode it is connected with Q216 in the questionnaire.
 1 born alive
 2 born dead
 3 lost before full term
 N/A
 sprego (country specific) Pregnancy outcome:
 0 not assigned
 1 live birth
 2 still birth
 3 miscarriage
 4 abortion
 N/A

 Hope this helps.
 Thank you!

	| Dear Liz,
Thanks for the information. But, unfortunately I am still not able to replicate the findings. I am also trying if I could get an answer through the reproductive calendar but have not been successful so far.

Looking forward to answer from the expert.

 Many thanks,
