I am conducting an analysis where I will need to merge three datasets from the Kenya SPA 2010: the ANC observations (KESR10AN), the provider interview (KESR10PV) and the facility/inventory dataset (KESR10FC). I am going to apply a hierarchical model to examine the predictors of providers offering a particular clinical service during ANC consultations, however, I am having trouble linking the datasets. I can merge the PV dataset and FC datasets because they have the common variable facility number. However, I cannot find a variable in the AN dataset that lists a unique provider ID for each consultation visit. How can I combine the AN and PV datasets? Thanks.

I don't know which program the user is using, I just opened data in SPSS. For AN I opened file KE10AN.SAV and for PV I opened data KE10PRV.SAV, to merge AN and PV the variables are FACIL and HLINE which are present in both files.
