Hello folks. So I have been using some data on India from the standard DHS 2005-6. I found the spatialdata.measuredhs.com site and they are supposed to have spatial data for the India 2005-6 survey. I was wondering, is there a way for me to match the individual surveys in the standard DHS survey to the spatial coordinates in the DHS spatial data for India. Has anyone tired this and what are the appropriate columns/variables to match on?

To view whether a survey has GPS data available, please refer to http://www.measuredhs.com/data/available-datasets.cfm. GPS data was not collected as part of the India 2005-06 survey. Therefore, the only spatial data available for the India 2005-06 survey is at the DHS regions level, and is available for download in shapefile or geodatabase format from http://spatialdata.measuredhs.com/.

For the India 1992-93 and 1998-99 surveys, there are district-level classifications available at http://userforum.measuredhs.com/index.php?t=msg&th=232&a mp;start=0&. The district-level classifications are not available for the 2005-06 survey due to confidentiality requirements of HIV testing.
