Hello,

I am new to DHS data analysis. Therefore have some concern regarding merging data file. I am trying to analyse household variable and mothers variable with IYCF from Pakistan 2012 survey. My problem is to decide which data files are supposed to be merged and while merging which file should be consider as base file. For example: we have br,hr,ir,kr,mr,pr files for PDHS 2012.Since i won't be looking for men's variable so MR can be excluded. Now from the remaining files, which are to be used??

Thank you and sorry for the basic question as i am a beginner for this data set.
