Here is a response from one of our data processing specialists, Mr. Noureddine Abderrahim:
Quote:
V106 is the variable highest level of education of the women interviewed. It is present in the individual woman's file (IR), the births' file (BR), the kids' file (KR), and the couples' file (CR) in case there is a man's interview. The data of the mothers' file are included with the child's data.

Response from Mr. Noureddine Abderrahim, Data Processing Specialist:
Quote:
In the birth's file and kid's file all women refer to the mothers of the children. By selecting only data of children 12-24, you will get the mothers of these children and the education of these women is the education of the mothers of the children selected.
