Dear all,

I am planning to use Uganda Demographic and Health Survey data to write a paper on maternal health. I would like to know whether the series of this dataset (from 1989 to 2011) is a panel that tracks the same households? If they are just a repeated cross-sections, did they sample households from the same locations across all survey rounds? Thanks

Dear User,
The answer is "no". Even the clusters are different. If a household is revisited, it is not intentional. You can find information on the sampling in one of the appendices in the back of each final report. Each publication is bookmarked for your convenience.
