Hello Guys,

Does anyone know if it its possible to generate educational attainment variable (enrolment rates or drop out) from V106, V133 in the 203 Nigerian Dhs?

DHS calculates net and gross attendance ratios, not enrollment rates as DHS does not collect information on who is enrolled, but rather who attended school. These data are generated from the household members (PR) file. It is not possible to calculate drop out rates using these data as information on the prior years schooling is needed in addition to information for the current year, and this data is not collected in the Nigeria DHS 2013.
