Merging child file with wealth index for Brazil 1996 DHS [message #553]

As others have mentioned the HH id number in the wealth index does not match the HH id variables in the child file. Help is much appreciated.

To merge please use CASEID and WHHID. CASEID = HHID+V003, so you take the first 12 characters as identifiers and match it with the WHHID of the wealth index. WHHID is the equivalent of HHID and it is the first 12 characters of CASEID.
