Hi,

I am trying to break down the birth interval indicator for an indicator reference sheet and have a question about how it is calculated. I see in the "Guide to DHS statistics" that intervals between both surviving and deceased children are used, but I wanted to get an idea of how "deceased child" is defined. Does this include intrapartum deaths in addition to neonatal deaths? Thanks for your help with this!
