Our NGO has been working with the Yatta DHMT to develop projects that address child mortality. We would like to conduct a survey in the intervention sublocations, compared to sublocations that are not currently participating, using the methodology of the Kenya DHS. Is it possible to use the KNBS master sampling frame to select "clusters" in Yatta District, and then select households from the list that was used in the Kenya DHS?

Here is a response from one of our experts: Kia Reinis, Survey Specialist
It is against survey protocol to release the identification of households interviewed in the Kenya DHS, thus which households were included in the KDHS cannot be given to anyone. This is to ensure respondent confidentiality. To even further ensure respondent confidentiality, DHS randomly displaces survey cluster points, so not even cluster points can be identified. We hope you are able to find another way to achieve your research objective.
