I am doing an impact evaluation on a nutrition program in Colombia. For "pre" program time period I only have reports with the prevalence of stunting, wasting etc. that were calculated based on the pre-2006 WHO growth charts. I need to use the anthropometric data from the 2010 Col DHS and convert it to HAZ, but based on the old standard so that I can compare the data points. Is there a program that will allow me to do this?

This appears to be an SAS program that would let you take your second round data and get the z-scores under the old standards, if you have raw height (say, in centimeters) in your newer data.

Another trick might be to generate a fake dataset with all possible heights, and then use that SAS program above to back out the real heights of the kids in the old data from their z-score, and use that height to calculate new WHO standards for them.
