GPS data requests go through a secondary screening after the initial dataset request is approved.
In general these GPS data requests are approved within 2-3 business days. However, during periods of Holidays in the US this may take a bit more time, please plan accordingly in the future for your research needs.

Additionally, if you have not properly explained why you need the GPS data for your analysis your request will be sent back to you for additional clarification and then you will again have 2-3 business days from re-submission before the request will be fully approved.
