When will the data set of Egypt DHS 2014 be available for download by researchers? And will a GPS dataset be available as well for download (like Egypt DHS 2000 and 2008)?

DHS datasets are not available until the final report is released for a particular survey. It's very difficult to anticipate when final reports and/or datasets will be available, as their release is contingent upon a multitude of factors. We do not yet have a date, however, you can sign up for data alerts, so you will be sure to know as soon as they are released: http://dhsprogram.com/email-subscribe.cfm

GPS/Georeferenced data were collected, and will most likely become available at the same time the survey data are released.

Dear Amira,

We cannot provide a time frame for the publishing of the 2014 Egypt DHS data. As Bridgette stated in her reply, "It's very difficult to anticipate when final reports and/or datasets will be available, as their release is contingent upon a multitude of factors." Additionally, we do not want to provide a time frame and then fail to release the report/data within that time. However, we are glad that you are so eager to use the new Egypt data.
