I am working on a topic related to cervical and breast cancer screening in three countries (Gambia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria) and I am not able to locate the code for these variables. I did an earlier work and cervical and breast cancer screening variables were coded as V484A and V484B. Any help will be appreciated.

I've worked on something similar before, and I think the variables might have been updated or coded differently in the latest surveys. For example, in some datasets, the cervical and breast cancer screening questions are under different variable names, or they might even be in different sections depending on the country. You could try looking through the country-specific questionnaires for Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria to see if those questions have been recoded in the latest round. I also found it helpful to check the recode manual for those countries--it usually lists any changes in variable names. If you still can't find them, the DHS helpdesk is pretty good about guiding you to the right variables. Hope this helps!
