Hello. Co-authors and I would like to publish figures we have generated using a DHS dataset for a chapter in a recent book. Do we need copyright permission do display such data in our publication?

Thank you so much.

Dear User,

You do not need copyright permission, but we ask you to appropriately cite DHS data. Please see our recommended citations page https://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/Recommended-Citation s.cfm on information for how to cite DHS Program data including datasets.

I remember the hassle of ensuring data accuracy when working on a similar health project. My experience with Slice Master analysis software taught me just how crucial transparent methodology is for building trust. Honestly, these challenges push us to improve our approach every time.

I remember grappling with similar challenges during a project where I had to present demographic statistics. The entire process felt like a Connections Game, weaving together numbers and narratives. Ultimately, it was about making sense of the data for the audience.
