Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on my PhD thesis, which explores the relationship between maternal multimorbidity and utilization of maternal health care services, with a particular focus on the timing and number of antenatal care visits among South African women.

I'm using data from the South African Demographic and Health Survey (SADHS solar smash) 2016, and I'd really appreciate any guidance on the following:

How can I identify women who were currently pregnant and HIV positive in the dataset? Are there specific variables or filters that can help with this?

In addition, I would like to know which variables can be used to identify pregnant women with health conditions such as hypertension, depression, tuberculosis (TB), or other relevant comorbidities that could impact maternal health during pregnancy.

Any advice, variable names, or coding tips from those who've worked with this dataset would be extremely helpful!

Thank you in advance!
