I am using the DHS women's survey data from multiple countries, and I want to make sure I am using the correct sampling strata. I am referencing the survey_strata.DO file that was provided by DHS in this forum. However, I have two surveys that do not behave similarly to other surveys.

For Bolivia 2003 survey, the .DO file suggests using v023*v025. However, that yields only two strata (national rural and national urban).

For India 2019-2021 survey (I'm only using the national data, not state data), it is not included in the .DO file. I used v022 (same as v023), and I got more than 2000 stata, with very few participants each.

I tried to do v024*v025 for both surveys, and it seems to be behaving well (similar to how other surveys behaved). Could anyone please confirm if this is the correct way to go?

Thank you so much!!!
