I tried to readjust the weights of the KR file for different countries and waves. I made the adjustments according to the attachment, but I also considered the year differently, that is, calculated survey_totwt for each year in a single survey separately, because some KR was conducted in the middle of a year (2015-2016, etc.). Then using survey_totwt for that year, as well as all_survey_totwt, the number of people aged 15-49 in the country for that year (target), and the total population of the country (total_target), I calculated the adjustment factor (agj_factor). I then calculated the new weights in the merged file and asked if this was correct

Given your approach to readjusting the weights in the KR file by considering survey years separately, do you think this method effectively addresses variations in data collection timing?
