Dear Tom,

Thanks so much for your insightful suggestions!

I now have a new question related to my work using DHS household records and GPS data:

I am working with PHGE81FL (geographic data) and PHHR82FL (household records) for the Philippines 2022 DHS survey. While both datasets are from the same survey year, they appear to come from different survey batches, as indicated by their differing numeric codes (81 vs. 82).

So the question would be if these two datasets can be linked, or do they represent entirely separate samples?

And if they cannot be directly linked, is there an alternative approach to incorporate geographic information into the household dataset?

I would be grateful for any suggestions on this. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best Regards!
