1) Women's data file is missing. However, a cursory look shows that the Individual file (LSIR81DT) may be for women. Is this correct?
2) The children's file (LSKR81DT) shows that the age ranges from 15 to 49, suggesting that these are women or that the women were answering for children. Is there a children-specific file?

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:
The Lesotho files are standard. In the IR file, the cases are women. In the KR file, the cases are children, but most of the mother's variables are copied onto the child's record. The v variables such as v012 (age) refer to the mother. If a woman had more than one child in the past 5 years, she will appear more than once--once for each child. Women who did not have a child in the past 5 years do not appear at all in the KR file.
In all DHS surveys, the information about the child is provided by the mother. We do not interview children.
