Hi there,

I'm unable to replicate the Minimum Meal Diversity for Mozambique 2022...

The number for the MAD indicator in table 11.8 (for youngest children aged 6-23 months living with their mother is recorded as 14.4%

My code - attached - gives 14.2% instead for the same population of 2677...

I also don't match on Minimum meal frequency - I get 26.7% and the table 11.8 recorded 26.6% for this indicator...

Although the differences are quite minor, it means all the breakdowns etc are also off, to various degrees, so I need to fix it...

At this point, I've accurately followed the documentation (I believe) and I'm completely flummoxed! I am wondering about including v141d (insects) and v414wa (leaves etc)... but I cannot match even when I try including these in various places...

I'd be really grateful for any guidance - I think there must be a definitional difference somewhere. I've attached my code...
best,
Simon

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

Attached is the CSPro program for chapter 11: HERE. The relevant instructions for table 11.8 begin on line 2769.  You are probably not a CSPro user--I am not either--but you should be able to interpret that part of the program.
