Good evening,

I am currently interested in doing a research work that would require the use of a GPS dataset from this document published in the DHS website, named "Sao Tome and Principe: MICS, 2014", but in the description of the GPS dataset its described as "Not distributed". Could please someone help me understand what this statement means and, if there is GPS datasets, is there anything I can do to have access to it?

I thank you in advance,
Kind Regards,

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

You are probably looking at this page: https:// www.dhsprogram.com/methodology/survey/survey-display-470.cfm. "Not distributed" probably means that no GPS file was even prepared. This is a very small country with a small population. Perhaps there was no way to mask the identity of the clusters with the usual displacement procedures. Whatever the reason, no GPS dataset is available.
