How to merge household wealth and migration status variables with ANC questions? Which data set to choose to show relationship among these variables? IN DHS Pakistan 2017-18

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

In the IR and KR files, the wealth quintiles are given by v190. This is the same as v270 in the HR and PR files. I don't believe any migration variables were included in this survey. The v variables that come up with "lookfor place" (v103-v105) are NA. Did you find any migration questions in the questionnaire?

How might the process of merging datasets differ if you wanted to include additional factors from other DHS datasets, such as the Men's Recode (MR) or the Children's Recode (KR), to provide a more comprehensive analysis of ANC utilization?

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

Which file are you planning to use? The IR or the KR? Specifically, which variables in other files do you want to merge with this file?

The KR file already includes most of the variables for the mother that are in the IR file. I don't know what you would want from the MR file, but partners have already been merged in the CR file. Please be more specific about what you want to do, and for which survey. The original question in this thread was about Pakistan 2017-18. That survey did not include interviews with men.
