I am harmonizing data from DHS and MICS surveys. I want to append the datasets and run some descriptive analysis.
I was wondering whether it is possible to use the weights available in MICS and DHS (women weights)? in my understanding they are computed similarly, can you please confirm?

Following is a response from Senior DHS Staff Member, Tom Pullum:

Yes, DHS and MICS calculate the weights in the same way. You can use them as they appear in the data files, without modifications.
