Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether there is a way to find out quickly/or someone can let me know if other surveys besides the 2013 Dominican Republic DHS contain information on birth registration for all household members (and thus not just under 5/under 18).

Many thanks

Following is a response from Senior DHS Staff Member, Tom Pullum:

DHS has a relatively recent tool that you can use to answer this kind of question. Go to the website www.dhsprogram.com, click on "Methodology" and then click on "Survey questions database". You can then enter a keyword such as "registered" or "registration", etc., and you will get a very helpful list of the questions and surveys that have included questions with that keyword.

I believe that few surveys have asked about the civil registration of all persons, rather than just children, but with this tool you can find what you want.
