Why in Bangladesh Demographic & Health Survey 2017-18, the menopausal age was considered from 31-49 years? I need an explanation regarding this issue as it is unusual and questionable.

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:
In DHS surveys the age range for eligible respondents is 15-49. The maximum possible age for tables and analysis is 49. At the other end of the range, 31 is below the likely age at menopause but it is intentionally set low to catch all cases.
