I am new to working with DHS data, but for my project, I aim to investigate the prevalence of sickle cell disease within households and its potential correlation with the household wealth index. Specifically, I want to examine whether households with members affected by sickle cell disease tend to have a statistically lower wealth index, possibly due to the associated health issues and financial burdens. Can I perform this analysis using the 2018 data from Nigeria? If so, which files and variables should I utilize to identify cases of sickle cell disease? Please let me know if you need any additional information.
