i need to calculate maternal mortality ratio from Guinea DHS of 2018 in Stata,can help me with the code

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The 2018 Guinea survey did not include the sibling histories, which are necessary for the calculation of adult and maternal mortality rates. If you look at the IR file, you will not find any "mm" variables and if you look at the final report you will not find a chapter on this topic.

Let us know if you want to calculate these rates and ratios for another survey that did include the relevant data.

Hello,
I would like to calculate Maternal Mortality Rate using Tanzania DHS data 2010 2015 and 2022 using stata
Additionally I want to calculate stillbirth rate in same years using same data and statistical tool
Any insights ?

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

These estimates are given in the final reports on the surveys and on STATcompiler. Unless you are particularly interested in the construction of demographic rates, you probably do not need to re-calculate them.

We have a GitHub site with programs for the standard tables (https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-Stata). Maternal mortality is in the chapter with adult mortality rates (Chap16_AM) and the stillbirth rate is in the chapter with fertility rates (Chap05_FE).
